Transport constantly adapts and develops. Modern logistics demand clarity and innovation. Competent Carmen always think ahead.
Since 1992 the Company has stimulated transport debate through lectures, symposia and forum.
Carmen have worked with the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacture and Commerce.
Two lecture series have tackled Transport in Society, Freedom of Movement and The Inconvenient Society, among many such subjects at the cutting edge of enquiry and concern.
Recently, the Company and the Royal College of Art explored Future Cities Mobility – a theme continuing into 2011 with the London Transport Museum.
Now the Company, working with the London Chamber of Commerce, is looking at the Olympic transport legacy.
Lectures and debate continue the Carmen’s policy to think ahead about one of society’s most pressing demands – urban mobility.
