Having been heavily involved in recent operations including the movement of heavy armour to Eastern Europe, 19 Tank Transporter Squadron RLC (The Carmen’s) are delighted to invite members of The Worshipful Company of Carmen to their home in Ward Barracks, Bulford.
This year sees the squadron celebrating its centenary of being motorised and kindly showed one of their heavy vehicles at Cart Marking. The day will allow us the opportunity to experience the range of heavy lift vehicles that the squadron uses on a daily basis to support the movement of Defence equipment both in the UK and on international operations and exercises (subject to Covid-19 or operational restrictions that need to be applied).
Refreshments and lunch will be provided throughout the day at a cost not exceeding £20 per person which can be paid on the day at the base.
Dress is smart casual but waterproofs and a warm fleece is recommended as many activities will be outdoors.
Places are limited and the closing date is 19 August 2022.
