The election of the Sheriffs and other Officers for the year will take place at the meeting of Common Hall held at Midday in the Guildhall, London. This year’s Shrieval Candidates are Alderman Prem Goyal CBE and Alderman The Hon. Tim Levene. Please click on their names for their Election Addresses.
Liverymen of this Company who are on the current Common Hall Register (i.e., those who have held the Company’s Livery for a period of not less than one year prior to 1 June 2025) are hereby summoned to attend and vote on this occasion. It is hoped that as many qualified Liverymen as possible will be present. All Liverymen are asked to arrive from 11.00am to be seated in good time and no later than 11.30am. Those Liverymen arriving later cannot be guaranteed a place in the Great Hall and may be seated, instead, in the Livery Hall or the Old Library.
A pass will be required for entry to Guildhall, though Liverymen without a pass will still be admitted after Guildhall staff have confirmed their identity. Guests are unable to attend the Election as spectators but are welcome to attend the lunch afterwards. Please be advised that bags, briefcases etc will not be allowed into Guildhall for security reasons.
This year’s two course seated lunch with wine, a glass of port and coffee will be held in Farmers and Fletchers’ Hall Hall at approximately 12.30pm, starting with a Drinks Reception. The cost will be £95.00 per person (including VAT).
Please complete the form below by Friday 12 June 2026.
Voting passes and lunch tickets will be sent out. If you have not received these by Friday 19 June 2026, please contact the Deputy Clerk immediately.
Please note, places cannot be confirmed until payment has been received. Direct Debits will be taken on the closing date of Friday 16 June 2025.
