Join fellow Carmen, guests and members of our affiliated service units at our Joint Services Dinner which this year will take place in a new venue, Painters’ Hall.
This is our opportunity to welcome our military guests and honour those who have gone above and beyond, the recipients of our service awards which will be presented by Past Master Carman, HRH The Princess Royal.
Our guest speaker will be Vice Admiral Andy Kyte, the new Chief of Defence Logistics who took up post last year and is keen to promote the links between the three services logistics branches and the Carman.
Painters’ Hall is home to the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers. A Company whose origins can be traced back to the thirteenth century. It’s a beautiful venue, intimate and welcoming.
We will start with a drinks reception at 6.30pm where you will have a chance to meet the award winners and find out more about life in the armed services today. Dinner will be in the main hall followed by the presentation of our awards.
The Royal Marine Association Brass Quartet will keep us entertained during the evening.
Dress code is black tie or military dress with decorations.
Despite all the price rises across the City this year we have managed to keep the cost to £145 (inc VAT) thanks to generous sponsorship from The Royal Logistic Corps.
The deadline date for bookings is Wednesday 14 February 2024. Direct debits will be taken on Monday 12 February 2024.
Pour Memoires will be issued. Please contact the Deputy Clerk if you have not received confirmation or a Pour Memoire by Friday 16 February 2024. Payment is required to reserve your place(s). Unfortunately, a refund cannot be given after Tuesday 14 February 2024 except in exceptional circumstances.
Please note, photographs will be taken at the event. These will only be sent to those attending the event. If you (or your guests) do not wish to be included in any photos, please let the Deputy Clerk know.
