This event has now closed. If you wish to attend, please contact the Deputy Clerk to see if there are any spaces. The visit to XXIV Squadron takes place on Thursday 13 June 2024 and will start at the main entrance to RAF Brize Norton at 9.00am.
The planned programme of events is as follows:
Hear the Squadron Commander give a brief on RAF Brize Norton and XXIV Squadron. We will hear about the plethora of worldwide operations that the Station and Squadron is involved in, including the recent humanitarian airdrops over Gaza
Take up the chance to fly the Atlas A400M aircraft simulator (subject to availability) and view the aircraft cargo hold training facilities.
Have lunch in the Officers’ Mess.
Visit an A400M that, we hope, may be nominated as the ‘Carmen flight’ aircraft (depending on availability).
Places are restricted to 20 and are on a first come first served basis. Lunch can be purchased on the day at your own cost. Jacket and chinos or ladies equivalent for Mess.
Please complete the form below to secure your place. If you wish to take a guest, please add their names but priority will be given to Carmen. Alternatively please email the Deputy Clerk.
The deadline date for applications is Thursday 6 June 2024.
