Following other successful Defence visits, how about joining us at RAF Northolt on Wednesday 26 February 2025?

We start with a visit to the Headquarters, British Forces Post Office (fascinating with their worldwide role, particularly defence mail overseas and classified documents to embassies, etc) followed by 621 Explosives Ordnance Disposal Squadron RLC (who look after EOD incidents in London and the south east).  We then move onto the Air Movements Squadron (VIP moves from RAF Northolt, Heathrow, etc) before lunch in the Officers’ Mess. After that, we go to Headquarters RAF Music Services (where, we hope, the Central Band of the Royal Air Force will be rehearsing!). It should be a good day out!

Lunch in the Officers’ Mess is to be self funded, so please bring cash!  A cash donation will be requested in order to support Service charities and welfare.

Please arrive by 9.45am.  Admittance will not be allowed after 10am.  Departure will be around 3.00pm.  Dress is Jacket and Tie or ladies equivalent.

If interested, please complete the form below; however, only 20 places are available – so apply quickly!  Names will be drawn on 1 February 2025 to allow for those who live further afield, if successful, to book their travel arrangements at a reasonable price.  Preference will also be given to those who have not recently attended a military visit. Full details will be provided nearer the time.
