Benevolence is at the heart of our Livery’s activities. Livery companies are among the greatest sources of philanthropy in Britain; and Carmen certainly play their part.
Our Benevolent Trust is seeking Liverymen to fill the roles of Trustee and Honorary Secretary.
Trustees meet four times a year to manage the charity and identify new needs within the Trust’s core objects which are to educate the younger generation and provide support to people and institutions in need, as well as causes associated with the transport and logistics industries, which gave rise to the Livery.
The Honorary Secretary facilitates trustee meetings by fulfilling the administrative tasks of the Fund. This is an interesting roll, enabling the holder to take a major park in ensuring continuity of the Trust’s performance.
If you feel you have the ability to fill one of these roles, please get in touch with Chris Godbold or Iain Golder for more information.
