THE CARMEN’S ROYAL NAVY CUP
…honours the officer nominated as the most outstanding logistician within
Fleet Command Support and Sustainability for the year.
Founded by the Worshipful Company of Carmen in 2001. It comprises the cup, a silver
gilt medal to be retained and a framed citation.

integrity as Logistics Officer (Operations
Support) for RNAS Culdrose
2016 Lt Darren Walton
as Logistics Officer, 820 Naval Air Squadron,
for outstanding Ebola crisis logistic support,
ensuring stores reached remote locations
without land access
2015 Lt Gary Turner
who, as SO3 Sealift Operations within defence
support chain operations and movements,
delivered the pivotal redeployment of missioncritical equipment from Afghanistan
2014 Lt Val Stamper
a truly outstanding logistician, as Logistics
Officer (Tenders), who has delivered
exceptional support for 22 minor warships of
the Portsmouth Flotilla.
2013 Lt Jim Butler
Who deployed to the Gulf as Staff Logistics
Officer to UK mine and counter measure
logistics, and as Group Logistics Coordinator at
task group level.
