In a change to the original event, the Carmen’s Car Club has now arranged to visit an amazing private collection of vehicles belonging to Les and Dee Searle. This is a hands-on event as many of the items are in working order. You can have a turn at steering a steam traction engine or have a short trip in a classic coach or even ride in a veteran car! There are many other vehicles to see from pedal cars to large steam road vehicles. We hope to be able to visit the workshops too.
One of the Searle’s steamers took part in this year’s Cart Marking. ‘Puffing Billy’ is a Foden steam bus.
This event will start at 10am with a light meal and drinks included. Tickets cost £35 per person.
Please register your interest by sending an email. We will be holding a Concours event, so please arrive in an interesting vehicle if you can.
