Now is your chance to visit the Defence School of Logistics and Administration (DSLA), Defence College of Support, at Worthy Down.
Whilst the recent visits to Brize Norton and Northolt demonstrated some aspects of training given by the DSLA, now is your chance to see more, but this time located at Worthy Down, near Winchester (Post Code SP21 2RG).
The visit will include:
- Fuel Operations covering fuel storage and supply
- Defence Postal and Courier Service
- Ceremonial and Equipment Repair Tailoring
- Food Services Training
The plan is to arrive at Worthy Down’s main entrance by 0945 hrs on Thursday 24 July. Visitors must be in possession of photographic identity (UK Passport of photo Driving Licence). To book a place on this visit, please complete the online booking form providing the required details. The visit to Food Services Training Wing will include a demonstration and lunch provided by the excellent students and staff of the Wing, costing approximately £20.00 and which will be payable on site.
Following the visit, for those that want to, there is an opportunity to visit the on-site Royal Logistic Corps Museum.
Dress – As this is a formal visit you are asked to wear jacket and Carmen’s tie (but bring suitable waterproof/windproof clothing as some of the visit will be outdoors).
