Stand for Ukraine is pround to be working with the Worshipful Company of Carmen.
Stand for U, is led by the Ukrainian diaspora and motivated by a strong love for our country. We have been working tirelessly since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine to provide critical aid to those facing the harsh realities of the ongoing war.
We believe in direct actions, getting vital resources into the hands of those who need them most—the people of Ukraine.
We’ve delivered over 42 tonnes of humanitarian aid to the Kharkiv region, one of the areas hardest hit by the war. This aid includes various essential items: medical supplies, hygiene products, pet care, baby and child care items, household goods, electro generators, and power banks.
Since June 2024, we’ve sent five serviced evacuation vehicles to Ukraine designed to help those with disabilities reach safety. These vehicles already saved over 1500 lives.
We are incredibly grateful for the support of The Carmen General Charity (Charity Number 120722), which shares our commitment to helping Ukraine. Their partnership has been invaluable in our efforts to deliver aid and make a difference.
While our primary focus is on delivering aid within Ukraine, we also support displaced Ukrainians who have arrived in the UK. It includes Drop-in support centres in Brighton and Hove, which offer advice and assistance with navigating life in a new country; cultural events to help maintain a sense of community and connection to Ukrainian heritage; and Recreational activities to support mental well-being and social integration.
Every penny of your donation directly supports those in vital need in Ukraine. Your generosity enables us to prioritise the delivery of essential aid within Ukraine, where it is needed most.
Whether you can donate goods, contribute financially, or volunteer your time, your support will help us to continue our work and make a difference in the lives of those affected by the war.
