…for the most outstanding MSc dissertation in the field of transport and logistics from a student at Imperial College, and also at the University of Westminster.
These two awards were founded in 1960: the Imperial College Award in memory of the late Past Master Raymond Birch CBE; and the University of Westminster in memory of the late Assistant Herbert Crow. Originally known as the Carmen’s Apprentices Awards, since 2005 they have become the Carmen’s Graduate Awards. Each award comprises a framed citation and a cheque for £250, both are now presented by the Carmen’s Benevolent Trust.
