Although primarily an Army club, in order to reflect to importance of the reserve members of all three services, the Waggon Club sponsors a tri-service award that recognises the most deserving member of the reserve forces who has made a significant contribution to operational output during the year in their reserve role, on full-time reserve service or on mobilised service on operations.

The award is open to serving members of the Royal Navy Reserves, the Royal Marine Reserves, the Royal Logistic Corps Reserves and the Royal Air Force Reserves. Each of the services is invited to nominate one individual for consideration. Nominations are reviewed by the Chairman and a committee of the Waggon Club in order to select the winner.

The award was established in 2025 and consists of a silver cup (donated by the Waggon Club) which is engraved with each winner’s name, together with their attendance with a guest at the Carmen’s annual Joint Services Awards dinner.
