If you wish to apply for membership but do not have a proposer, please speak to the Clerk (020 8050 1311) who may be able to help you.

What happens next

On receipt of completed membership applications, the Clerk will arrange a mutually agreed time with the applicant for an interview.  The interview (and introduction to the Worshipful Company of Carmen) may be at the Carmen’s Office or by Zoom and will be held with the Chair of the Membership Committee and other Committee members.

Applicants will be advised of the outcome within a few days of the interview and successful applications are submitted to the Court for endorsement.

Successful applicants are invited to participate in the next available Freedom Ceremonies.
