You can apply for membership using our online form. Alternatively, if you wish to apply online but don’t have a proposer, then please speak to the Clerk (telephone 020 7645 1405) who may be able to help you.

You can also set up your Direct Debit by clicking here [awaiting link], which we will use to collect your joining fee, annual subscription and, if you wish, payment for Carmen events.

Otherwise download the Membership Application Form and, once complete, send to our postal address.

What happens next

On receipt of completed membership applications, the Clerk will arrange a mutually agreed time with the applicant for an interview.  The interview (and introduction to the Worshipful Company of Carmen) may be at the Carmen’s Office or by Zoom and will be held with the Chair of the Membership Committee and other Committee members.

Applicants will be advised of the outcome within a few days of the interview and successful applications are submitted to the Court for endorsement.

Successful applicants are invited to participate in the joining and welcoming ceremonies.
